Get to Know Us
Helix Learning is a structured, research-informed reading tutoring service designed to help primary students build strong, lasting literacy foundations. Every child begins with a clear assessment and follows a targeted plan built around their individual needs because reading progress should never be left to chance.
To ensure the highest quality instruction and genuine individual attention, we work with no more than 10 students per teacher at any one time. This allows us to know each learner deeply, respond quickly to gaps, and deliver focused teaching that leads to measurable growth.

Initial Reading Assessment
Every child begins with a clear diagnostic reading assessment.
This helps us identify strengths and gaps across key reading strands such as phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension — so support starts at the right level, not by guessing.

Targeted Teaching Focus
Tutoring sessions are planned around your child’s specific reading needs.
We explicitly teach the strands that will make the biggest difference, using carefully chosen texts and aligned activities to build skills step by step.

Ongoing Monitoring & Adjustment
Progress is checked regularly through short assessments and observation.
As your child improves, teaching is adjusted — skills are consolidated, focus areas shift, and learning continues to move forward with purpose.
